food

I used to think when I was young, when not buying jaded songs sung, that mothers had a peculiar role, in their caring for their babies' soul. I used to think that when they ate food, the fetus was chillin', ripe in the mood. And when the food would pass her throat, that baby he'd receive it floating like a boat. But he would not feed via the cord, he'd be sitting plopped and waiting bored. He'd open his mouth and guard a frown, and receive food whole to munch it down. What a weird thing to believe, but that's a memory from childhood cleaved.
