Sweet revenge

The m&ms strolled down the lane, happy in their mutual refrain. The sun was high and beating down, soon to reveal the girl a clown. Sizzle and snap went the soft candy shell, which melted to the ground and the guy did yell. 'What is this, you're not who you are!' And the girl, 'Quite right, I'm no candy bar'. The blue melted off, and revealed at last, a skittle beneath the veneer and mask. 'You're a succubus!' screamed the m&m guy. 'What?' retort the skittle, 'You gonna cry?' And so love ends in this solemn sad story, good thing we stopped telling it--for it gets real gory.
