War

Ode to war I hate you so, You pillage and ravage the soul, Two parties fight with nowhere to go, They each have divergent goals. One wants the whole and the other too, So they send their armies to bear, Young men die and mothers are blue, And the leaders seem without care. When finally peace is made, It seems a trifle odd, Peace is pieces shared and displayed, Why not do this from the start, by God?
