Water mountains

In a dream I kept a fiery hearth,
Married to the warmth of a hearty earth,
But in fact when I looked I could not see,
Land or dirt but only sea.
At my feet shivered water all around,
And off in the distance shimmering mounds,
For in my dream it was a watery awe,
The most beautiful thing that I ever saw.
