I used to stare from my window at the sky, watching the storm clouds form on high. When the thunder roared and the lightning struck, I'd run outside under the awning I'd duck. I squinted up and tried to see, worms pink and plump falling toward me. Because later there they were on the grass I found, so they must have fallen from the sky to ground!
