Off the hook

A hook is hooked on his lip one day. He's pulled from the water by a fisher on the quai. The fish rips the hook from his mouth and falls. Under the water other fish hear his call. He's safe right now, that's real good. But later his friends say 'damn he looks worse than he should.' Another says 'yeah, it really shows.' 'What?' say the other. 'He let himself go.'
