Timber bells

Here they are the pair afoul,
Pruning a bit the tree,
Nibbing and crunching with taught jowls,
A pair of cute bunnies.
Finally it bows and cracks,
Falling in the night,
Silent as hell for noise it lacks,
Heavy as a rottweiler bite.
When all is said and done at last,
Timber without saws,
Christmas this year will not pass,
For bunnies killed Santa Claus.
