Shake it off

After all this time the day is upon us, We must prove hireable, dire, and straight, Soon we'll commute in on the daily bus, All that's left is to nail this shake. Concetrate, my brain says, we can do it, Reach in and do the shake to impress, Stand strong for the shake, do not sit, Look into the hiring manager's eyes without distress. What's that curve on his face before me? It's a frown, he looks perplexed and confused, Oh dammit, I see why, and I'm apt to grieve, I'm holding milk, a milkshake, haha, so bemused. So I didn't get the job, big deal, I'll just apply to McD's and get the free meals.
