Coal

Christmas morning has come at last, children hope it won't go fast. Down the stairs and to the chimney they go, retrieving their stockings to see what they'll show. But what they find is not always their goal, for sometimes what awaits them is pellets of coal. The kid is surprised and tears start to flow, and dad says, 'bummer', that's a tough go. Dad drinks scotch and kicks his shoe, says 'looks like Santa knew of your shitty room too'.
