Fleeting

Here I am in the ether of existence I do not know how I'm alive I'm not matter, or am I? Will death bring me recompense? A swirling madness this life takes me down I'm pulled left and right and all around Who am I, and how did I get here? Is there an answer to my questions? What will happen when I stop thinking What after all are my lessons? I think these thoughts, but verily I'm scared What if it's meaningless how in life I fared? I cannot know now And maybe not even in time Here on the drop of a dime To death I scream and bow
