Flash flood

The moon daughter looked at her mom, the great big Earth, And noticed that her coolness was particularly dearth. Are you alright asked the moon, eyes opened wide, It's just terrapause responded mom, in her daughter she confides. This is a hot flash, it'll go away soon, But daughter took a closer look, like a curious moon. Hot flash it made be, to the untrained eye, But Luna looked closer and what did she spy? The poles had heated up, dirt was becoming mud, Hot flash, not really, more like flash flood.
